Tahiti: Entering the village
Tahiti Village Entrance

Ia orana! Welcome to the lovely island village of Tahiti. The country of Tahiti, commonly referred to as French Polynesia, actually consists of 118 islands, the most famous of which are Bora Bora, Mooeah, the Marquesas Islands and the isle of Tahiti. French is the prevailing language, though traditional Tahitian is still practiced by many. Within the Tahitian culture, generosity and hospitality are central values. Our village highlights the cultural practices unique to Tahiti such as the baking of delicious coconut bread, the popular hipshaking dance style, and the use of their sacred temple, or Morea, as it is called in Tahiti. Our open air temple structure is the only authentic replica outside of Tahiti.

French Polynesia is rich in history, art and natural resources. Our villagers are ready to share a history lesson, a dance or food demonstration, and a game or two. Test your luck at snagging a fish in the Fishing Hut next to our lagoon.
