Getting started with the App!

Use our app throughout the day. See where you are with our interactive map, what activities are coming up next and enjoy our exciting new Cultural Points of Interest .

HELPFUL HINTS! How to get started:

1. Turn OFF your wi-fi (due to the remoteness of our villages, wi-fi is not available)
2. The app is data driven – so enable your mobile’s data access.
3. Watch the tutorial that opens when you first download our app. If you need to review it again, press the menu icon in the top left corner of the app and click on “tutorial”.
4. Click on the icons at the bottom of the screen to turn them on or off on the map.

Want to use our “Cultural Points of Interest?

This brand-new feature provides you with MORE culture, MORE history and MORE stories from our Polynesian islands. Simply look for our signs posted throughout the villages. Then use the scanner conveniently located in the lower right-hand corner of your app.

Here are some important hints:

1. Open your app when you see a sign.
2. Sometimes turning your phone off and on again helps to refresh your system.
3. If you want to review the cultural pages later, click on the menu icon at the top left of your app screen. Then choose “Cultural Points of Interest”. You will now see a list of all of the subjects. Click on any subject to read the post.
